Renowned for its tranquil setting and its Well Dressing event.Newborough is a small compact village with the River Swarbourne running through its centre. The custom, and art, of well dressing takes place in the village; three wells being decorated and blessed. The ceremony and accompanying festivities are held every May Day, it is a real village affair, with the village school chidlren performing the annual maypole dances.
Newborough is surrouned by the staffordshire Countryside, and is also ideally situated for Alton Towers, The Peak District and Cannock Chase.
