Whether you're looking for a quiet time away in idylic countryside surroundings, or a weekend packed full of excitement and adventure then a short break in Staffordshire should not be overlooked.
Newborough Cottages are situated in idylic countryside, with views of rolling fields in all directions, so is the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. Hoar Cross Health Spa is only minutes away, and recreational activities such as Horse Riding, Golf, Fishing and more are in abundance. The Peak District is only a 30 minute drive.
However, should your idea of a short break be a bit more excitement, then Staffordshire has lots to offer. Alton Towers is only 45 minutes away for example. There are also a number of extra activites available nearby, such as Paintballing, Hang Gliding or Paragliding Tandem Lessons, Karting, Golf, Caving, Pot-Holeing, Racecourses, and much much more. A short break in Staffordshire can be as calm or as exciting as you decide to make it.
